Robie Creek 1/2 Marathon--2009

Today Jenny ran Robie and did awesome. I was so proud of her. She wanted to finish under 2hrs and did it in 1hr 59min and 16 sec. She did so well. She has been getting up at crazy hours in the morning all winter training for this. Now she has anoth full marathon in a few weeks in Boise. She was inspired by one of her favorite "Biggest Loser" contestants at the run. Mandy!!! she was super nice and looked great. Great Job Jenny!!!!

Jenny has committed herself to learn the discipline of Fly Fishing this year. We went on a shopping spree to Cabellas tonight and I made her model her new gear. Doesn't she look hot? There is something about women in waders. Anyway, I am very excited to get her into the water and catch some big ones. I am sure pictures will follow.

Jenny got a new Puppy for her Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Jenny!!!! Yes, I broke down and got Jenny a dog that is good for absolutly nothing other than sitting on your lap and sleeping. He is a 7 wk old Chihuahua, and his name is "Chancho". Just saying that makes me want to go get some Chips and Salsa. He really is pretty cute and when everyone else is asleep I have gotten him out of his kennel and played with him. Think he would like going Coyote hunting? I am just asking...

First Steehead of the Year. Nice native Chromer!!!

Super cold air and water. I was able to dodge all the floating ice chunks and get a slight drift in the slushy water with a bobber and a small jid. Not a bad wild fish! Nice way to kick off a new year of great fishing! (Shorts Bar, Riggins Idaho!)
