First Day out in the New Drift Boat!

This was the first day out in the new drift boat. We put in at Walter's Ferry, and took out at Bernard's landing. It was about a 5 mile float and we had a blast. Mom dropped us off and then went to the bottom and waited for us. She crocheted and said that she enjoyed every second of the peace and quiet. We did a little fishing but mostly was a trial run for the boat. The kids had a blast. Ok, Daddy kind of liked it to.

Cambell River fishing trip with Dad and Friends! Sep 07

Well, what can I say, we have a terrific trip. I went with Dad, and some good friends. Dave Bradshaw and his son Austin, and his father-in-law Ron Cassidy, and a buddy Tim Crowley. We spent two wonderful days catching Salmon, and we have all we wanted to bring home. What a great trip. We fished with Steve Babcock, with Tall-tale Charters. What a great guy! He knew how to get us on the fish! Can't wait till next year!

Jenny runs the "Top of Utah" Marathon!!!! 9/15/07

Congrats Jenny. She won't brag about her self so I have to for her. Last Saturday she compeated in the "Top of Utah" marathon, at Logan. It was her first Marathon ever and she did outstanding. Her stats were as follows... Her over all time was 4hrs 1 min and 26 seconds. Out of the 1519 runners over all she came in 511th place. Out of the 30-34 yr old women, she was 29 out of 113. Over all females she took 156th out of 744. Her pace was at 9:13 a mile. The average finish time for the race was 4:26:04. She really is super-mom. She trained very hard over the past year for this race from the icy mornings last winter when she would come home with frozen eye lashes, to getting out of bed as early as 4:30 am to run all summer long. She said last week that whe wanted to run it, just so she could say that she did it. Now knowing that she was so close to a sub 4hr time, she says that she has to go back and do it. So watch out Utah, the Idaho girl will be back next year and this time she means business.
